Based on Jennifer Iacopelli’s popular young adult novel, the show follows Adriana Russo (Madelyn Keys), a talented ice dancer navigating the high-stakes world of competitive skating while managing her family’s struggling training facility.

When it comes to the highly anticipated second season, Madelyn is thrilled for what’s to come, expressing her desire to see even more of the dramatic, high-stakes storytelling that defined the first eight episodes. While she, of course, cannot share any details about what is going to happen, she does hint at what she hopes is to come for Adrianna and her sisters. She also admits she hopes to see her character grow, saying she hasn’t been a great friend in season one.

Beyond the established drama, Madelyn has a dream crossover in mind: a collaboration with the world of Heated Rivalry. Since both shows are Canadian productions set on the ice, she believes there is a perfect opportunity for a crossover event.
Her dream Heated Rivalry crossover, including Olympic chaos, rival leagues colliding, and how characters from both shows could exist in the same shared universe. Yes – she’s thought about it. Yes – it involves competition, drama, and ice. A lot of ice.
“I think that’d be fun,” she laughed, imagining the Heated Rivalry teams clashing with the figure skating world. She also has some ideas of who the actors could portray in the other worlds of Heated Rivalry and Finding Her Edge.
